Preference Voting Software

PrefVote is a preference voting software project writtern in Perl.

See the presentation at SVPerl on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 7pm in Sunnyvale.

The core vote-counting engine, originally called Vote::STV (for Single Transferable Vote) was written in 1998 for various Silicon Valley clubs to use in their polls and elections.

PrefVote is a project to upgrade the user interface and make a more easily configurable "voting booth in a box".

There will be a hack session Saturday 9/7 at noon at Round Table Pizza, 1220 Oakmead Pkwy, Sunnyvale, CA

See the status page for current progress as it is posted.
